Here’s a little story all about how my life got flipped turned up-side down.

Hey there. I’m Sandra, also known as @iamsandyfreddy on social media, and by the end of 2019 I was depleted. I had nothing left in me to give.  Nothing was alive from within. Your girl was completely on E.

I realized my life up to that point was completely off balance and heavily skewed toward all things infused with more masculine principles: focus, leadership, performance, achieving, providing and just plain getting the job done no matter what the cost. I was so focused on the grind, I forgot about the grace. I was having plenty of professional success but was exhausted and felt something was definitely missing.

My womanhood and who I was as a woman was unclear to me. I felt disconnected from the more graceful, nurturing, creative, and warm side of myself. I started to feel trapped by the life I was living and like I didn’t know how or have the space I needed to be both the powerful version of myself in the sense of my ambition, drive, and career goals yet still embrace my feminine energy at the same time. I didn’t have the space to be fully expressed as my authentic self and who I felt I was being called to be.

I was miserable in my career practicing law, struggling in the relationship & love department, and terrified to bet on myself and aggressively pursue all the creative ideas I had been brewing over the years. My life was in chaos. I was physically and emotionally in shambles and had finally reached a point where I was craving so much more beyond professional success. So as 2019 was coming to an end, I knew the straw had finally broke the camel’s back and I needed to get plugged-in and into the driver’s seat of my life. I needed to get intimately connected with my heart so I could begin to live an abundant life where I felt alive again.

So I welcome you to Sandra’s Diary. This is my story of healing, soul-connectedness and transformation as I embark on a very personal journey to connect with my heart, connect with God, and live a life of legendary passion, love and purpose my way.

She looked back on her life and realized everything that happened made her stronger.

My mission is simple: wholehearted, authentic and purposeful living. And getting there is a process requiring a self-excavation of sorts and a tremendous effort to really try to understand myself more deeply. No one really talks about the process of growth so I wanted to document mine  and share more openly about many of my challenges and shortcomings in hopes to connect with and even inspire or help other women who are on their own personal healing journeys. So if you landed here in my corner of the world wide web, this is where I will be diving into my discoveries, adventures and inspiration as I find my balance and “feed” myself so I can finally start living a life filled with passion, purpose and potential.
