Since were are just getting acquainted, I figured I would share 20 fun facts about me that you may not know. Enjoy.
1.) I love indulgent sweets like chocolate ice cream, red velvet cake, cheesecake and banana pudding.
2.) I am 100% Haitian but don’t speak Kreyol.
3.) I’m a Scorpio & a Lawyer.
4.) I’m a romantic and love the movies Love Jones & The Notebook.
5.) I’m obsessed with toddler street style on Instagram. It might be baby fever or just that kids are adorable. The verdict is still out.
6.) I’m a native New Yorker but grew up in Dallas, Texas and went to The University of Texas at Austin for undergrad.
7.) I traveled solo to Argentina and Colombia.
8.) I’m 38, divorced, and don’t have children (for now).
9.) I love furniture & home decor and would be a hoarder if I had the space.
10.) I can’t flat braid or twist to the scalp, but let’s not revoke my black card.
11.) I’m an introvert with extrovert tendencies.
12.) I fear public speaking.
13.) My fear of bugs is so real that I once jumped out of my car while it was still in drive after a grasshopper hopped on my shoulder as I was pulling out of a gas station 🤦🏾♀️.
14.) I love Rihanna, Kanye West & Tracee Ellis Ross like there’s no tomorrow.
15.) My favorite self-development books to date are The Alchemist, The Power of Now, The Gifts of Imperfection, and The Secret.
16.) My favorite color is blackity black black.
17.) I have a shoe addiction and obsessed with funky, edgy, statement shoes.
18.) I have 2 tattoos that I didn’t get until I was 38.
19.) I enjoy dancing to good music while meal prepping. It’s therapeutic.
20.) I prefer phone calls over texts (any fellas that may read this, take note 🤣).

What’s funny is I always end up at some random pizza shop that has one of those cold refrigerator things with the clear glass…Man..if you find a spot with cakes in that mug and they have red velvet, they go hard…..I swear they use the same supplier because every red velvet I had from out a pizza joint with that glass refrigerator bangs! LOL…that icing though! Some Caribbean joints I been to also are up on this (I remember this one in Astoria, but can’t recall the name right now) They had the cakes too. I’m telling you, there is a supplier out here that puts their foot in red velvet cakes and sells them to these pizza shops and Caribbean spots. I’m onto them. It’s serious…Next time you visit, I got you! =)
